By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and make payments. If you permit players under 18, you must obtain verifiable parental/guardian consent, and a parent/guardian must accept these Terms on the minor's behalf. The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
PitchPay is a technology platform that helps players find and organize pickup soccer, split payments, list availability, and get discovered. UnbenchMe™ is the public player-directory front door to PitchPay. We are not the organizer, host, referee, coach, or venue for any game, and we do not supervise, inspect, or control games, players, or facilities. Games are organized and played by users, at their own arrangement.
One account per person. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
Soccer and physical activity carry inherent risks of injury, disability, or death. You participate in any game, session, or activity organized or found through the Service entirely at your own risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release and hold harmless PitchPay, its owners, and staff from any claims, injuries, damages, or losses arising from your participation, from other users' conduct, or from any venue or facility. You are responsible for your own health, fitness to play, and insurance.
If you opt in, we send transactional and safety texts (game reminders, SOS requests, verification codes) via Twilio. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Opting out of texts may limit features like SOS.
You agree not to harass, threaten, discriminate against, or endanger others; not to misrepresent your identity; and to follow all laws and venue rules. Our Her Game™ / Women's Network™ features add safety controls (e.g., verified-only contact); misusing them or the SOS system is prohibited. We may remove content or users that threaten community safety.
You retain ownership of the profile information and content you provide. You grant PitchPay a license to host and display it to operate the Service. Your profile is private by default and only appears in the public UnbenchMe directory if you opt in. You control your visibility, availability, location precision, and SOS participation.
The Service relies on third parties including Stripe (payments), Twilio (messaging), Supabase (data/hosting), and independent venues. We are not responsible for their acts, availability, or terms.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee that games will fill, that other users are who they claim, that venues are safe or available, or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PitchPay will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for injuries or losses arising from games, users, or venues. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months or $100.
You agree to indemnify and hold PitchPay harmless from claims arising out of your use of the Service, your participation in games, or your violation of these Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
You may stop using the Service anytime. We may suspend or terminate access for violations or to protect the community. Sections that by their nature should survive (risk release, liability limits, indemnity) survive termination.
We may update these Terms; material changes will be posted with a new effective date and, where appropriate, notice. Continued use means acceptance.
